The article studies the unsatisfactory social environment of Ukrainian rural areas, it is defined that main causes of it are insufficient concern of the state authorities about the problems of villages and the development rural areas; in a number of cases – slow pace of implementation of reforms, alarming state of social infrastructure. It is substantiated that the problem of social restoration of Ukrainian villages becomes topical again, as solving this problem may lead to enhancement of industrial, cultural aspects of activity as well as life conditions of employees of the agrarian sphere. There are considered the development trends of the social sphere of a village, on the current stage of the development of high-technology competitive and efficient agrarian production on the innovative foundation, aimed at full supply and satisfaction of the population’ demand for high-quality food products and satisfaction of the food security of the country. The further development of the brunches of social, cultural and consumer destination requires formation of new entities that would fully supply the population with wider range of social services. Formation and efficient use of system of business entities and methods of restoration of life conditions of rural population can become the constituent of the agrarian policy of the state. Refs.: 10.
