Improvement strategy of competitive ability in the production of sugar beet and sugar / Fursa A.V. // Ekonomika APK. - 2016. - № 11 - P. 33

The author studied the current level of competitive ability in a domestic sugar beet production. It’s been pointed out the lagging in a number of proofs in a branch of Ukrainian sugar beet production behind a European level. The main natural and a subjective agents of it, as well the number of measures giving appreciable increase of sugar beet crop are outlined. The issues of improvement the production technologies of sugar beet and sugar are addressed. It’s been suggested to introduce an appreciable system of the sugar beet work, a control of a food products safety and of quality, as well to regulate a fair system of interrelations between the units of sugar beet sub-complex and to adopt a market mechanism, which will allow to modify the risks concerning a nascence of zones of instability and crisis situations in a branch.
