Improving efficiency of farms of Zakarpattia / Spaskyi H.V. // Ekonomika APK. - 2017. - № 3 - P. 50

The basic indicators of development and efficiency of farms in Zakarpattia region are analyzed. There are determined that in the method of farms research particularly important is an assessment of their economic efficiency, where the main criterion is the yield (as value added per unit of resource - 1 hectare, 1 worker, 1 UAH of production costs). Efficiency of farm forms management is undeniable. World experience of developed countries gives a definite answer about the farm advantages that has been proven over the last century both in America and Western Europe. The analysis shows that a significant disadvantage of farming in Zakarpattia is that many of the farms are not engaged in livestock caused by lack of industrial base. It was determined that the most important result indicator of farm management are the value of gross and marketable production, which is calculated on base of gross, net profit and income. There are shown indicators of economic efficiency of farms in Zakarpattia, indicated main problems of their functioning in modern conditions, proposed offered promising areas of effective development and strengthen their competitive positions in the market.
