The purpose of the article is to theoretically and methodologically justify characteristics and organizational and economic factors of the agrarian sector development on basis of the “green economy” with presentation of foreign experience and definition of priorities for Ukraine, in particular taking into account a priority for use of renewable energy sources. Research methods. In the research process have been used the following scientific methods: analysis and synthesis for study of components of the “green economy”, monographic method for analysis of scientific achievements of Ukrainian and foreign scientists on problems of development of the “green economy”. Research results. In the research process organizational and economic aspects of development of the agrarian sector on basis of the “green economy”, and the current state of organic production and alternative energy in Ukraine have been disclosed. Organizational and economic aspects that influence development of the modern agricultural sector have been analysed. Elements of scientific novelty. In this article we try to characterize organizational and economic factors of development of the agrarian sector on basis of the “green economy” at this transformation stage, as well as methodically present the already existing experience of foreign countries in this regard. Practical significance. The current state of the “green economy” development in Ukraine has been analysed. It is presented a review of conceptual positioning of organizational and economic aspects of development of the agrarian sector in the methodical design of the “greening” of the economy with opportunities’ identification for Ukraine.
